The Perfect Chocolate chip Banana Bread

Updated: Aug 29, 2020

Hi everyone! I have always loved banana bread, but before this, I'd only eaten banana bread from a packaged mix. So, I wanted to create my own delicious, fluffy banana bread recipe to share with all of you! After a few tries, here it is! This banana bread may be one of my favorite recipes that I've ever made!

One really delicious part about this gluten-free banana bread is the chocolate chips. It's really good without the chocolate chips, too, but the chocolate chips add in an extra burst of flavor! You can use any chocolate chips with this recipe, but I especially enjoy white chocolate!

I hope you enjoy!

The Perfect Chocolate chip Banana Bread

  • 3 bananas

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 1/3 cup butter, melted

  • 2 cups GF All-Purpose flour (I used Bob's Red Mill 1-1)

  • 1 1/4 cup sugar

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees

2. In a large bowl, mash up the bananas with a fork

3. Add in the eggs, vanilla, milk, and melted butter into the mashed up bananas and stir together until smooth.

4. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

5. Pour the flour mixture into the banana mixture and stir together until smooth.

6. Fold chocolate chips into the batter.

7. Pour batter into cupcake wrappers and bake for around 30 minutes, or until golden brown.

8. Eat and Enjoy!
