Hi, everyone! We are a big fan of chocolate in our house. We are also a big fan of cookies! So you can see why my family and I love chocolate chip cookies! They are like little balls of deliciousness!
I am very excited to share my recipe for chocolate chip cookies with you today! Here are some tips for when you're baking these scrumptious cookies.
Water
My recipe lists 5 tablespoons of water. If your cookie dough isn't forming all the way, you can add in a tablespoon or two more.
2. Chocolate
It may seem like too much chocolate when you're rolling the cookies into balls, but when the cookies are out of the oven, you'll be happy you kept in the extra chocolate. If there's chocolate leftover on the bottom of the bowl, you can press that into some of the rolled dough.
3. Baking sheets
This recipe uses two baking sheets. You don't want to put the cookies too close together, or else they will form a big cookie in the oven! Make sure not to grease the baking sheets with oil, because the cookies won't cook the same if you do. A mistake I usually make when baking cookies is burning the bottom pan. Since the bottom baking sheet is closer to the bottom of the oven, it will cook faster. Because of this, you will need to pull the bottom baking sheet out of the oven a few minutes earlier.
And now, for the recipe! I hope you enjoy these delicious cookies!
