Fall is almost here, and I am so excited! What better way to celebrate the start of this great season than with homemade Apple Cider? This delicious recipe is super quick and easy, and super delicious!
The traditional way to make apple cider is to let all the ingredients simmer for a few hours. To be honest, I don't want to wait that long for apple cider. So, I decided to do an easier technique, which only takes a few minutes instead of a few hours! Basically, with a blender, you mix together 3 apples and 3 1/2 cup water. (I know that sounds like a lot of water, but that is what makes a thin juice!) Then, we will strain the apple juice, to remove the pulp. You can do whatever you would like with the pulp. I usually use the pulp to make a homemade apple sauce! Next, heat the juice on medium heat for about 2 minutes. Lastly, add in 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 2 pinches of cloves. Heat for another minute and your apple cider is done!
